HVAC Sales Job Description:

For the HVAC sales position building positive relationships with customers, closing deals, developing new accounts, ensuring repeat business from existing customers, and making a positive impact in the company is crucial to the success of the business.  An HVAC sales person is responsible for closing new accounts while understanding the customers wants and needs.  An HVAC sales person provides estimates to new and existing leads; can identify new sales opportunities; has a general working knowledge of the industry; and is a closer.

HVAC Sales Job Requirements:

  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Goal oriented and driven
  • 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience
  • Self-starter and energetic
  • Mechanical aptitude and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Must have a genuine empathy for customers and willingness to help others
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas
  • Know what questions to ask the customer to ensure an educated decision is made
  • Able to pass a background and drug test
  • Work with customers to find what they want and create solutions
